OK...yeah! I even confess, I fantasize about getting my 1 minute photo session with Scott Schumann! But I've given up. It takes the perfect combination of being at the right place at the right time, the perfect ensemble, the perfect roll of the pant, or shirt sleeve. The perfect worn or not so worn shoe. The perfect belt or bag, and lastly an effortless stance on the street with the amber glow of the sun catching your profile... and cut! Basically the stars have to be flawlessly aligned for that Sartorialist minute! Well, the step by step guide that Refinery 29 posted will help you get one step closer to that "Here I am Scott, I'm ready for my close up" moment.

Hahaha, this is total genius. I don't think anyone has ever admitted before that they want to be shot by Scott. I love you for being the first. xo
Ha! Scott shot me last month but I didn't make the cut and on to the blog.
I definitely wish that Scott will find me when I'm dressed well and walking around SoHo... other times, I hope he doesn't find me when I'm wearing nothing exciting so I don't get a look of disappointment!!!
By the way, I went to Gunnison Beach in Sandy Hook for the 4th!
Love your blog :)

Jesse, I have no doubt that you'd be a perfect subject for The S.'s photo and post. If there was a nominating process, I'd send your candidacy ASAP.
Take heart. It's only a matter of time! :)
(I think.)
yes, i believe that it can happen to you...you're in NYC and all you have to do is be ready, eager and confident!
I got a chance to meet scott face to face in my best tears during a booksigning in DC but he was too busy signing books. He's really a great guy:
